Today, we embark on the "Godfather Tour", a memorable expedition through the Sicilian locales where some of the most iconic scenes of Francis Ford Coppola's cinematic saga "The Godfather" were filmed. Accompanied by a knowledgeable driver and a local guide, this day is dedicated to unraveling cinematic history and discovering the authentic beauty of Sicily. Our tour commences at Savoca, a captivating medieval village with Roman ancestry. Here, you'll have the chance to explore the Church of San Michele and the Church of San Nicolò, which maintain the serene allure of medieval eras. A tour of the remnants of Pentefur Castle and the enigmatic catacombs of the Capuchin Convent is also on the agenda. The pinnacle of our Savoca visit is surely the Palazzo Trimarchi, housing the renowned Bar Vitelli. It's right here that the scene where Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) proposes to Apollonia was filmed.
