Sicily is a powerful destination for photography, with intense Mediterranean light, layered architecture, ancient ruins, coastal villages, rural landscapes, street scenes, markets, festivals and volcanic terrain.
Great Sicily DMC designs photography tours for enthusiasts, small groups, agencies and specialist travel organisers. Each programme can be shaped around different styles of photography, including landscape, architecture, street photography, food, portraits, rural life, cultural heritage, coastal scenery and travel reportage.
Itineraries may include Palermo, Cefalù, Agrigento, Syracuse, Noto, Ragusa, Modica, Taormina, Mount Etna, fishing villages, countryside routes, local markets, nature reserves and selected inland areas. Routes are planned with attention to light, timing, access, travel rhythm and the interests of the group.
Photography tours can include field sessions with local photographers, practical workshops, guided location scouting, cultural visits and free time for individual shooting. We also manage the logistical side of the journey, including accommodation, transfers, local guides, reservations and on-site support.
